The Tanera Project will be sending the herring luggers St Vincent and Clan Gordon to join Lugger Fest' 26 in Ullapool, crewed by our fantastic volunteers.
The boats, restored by the team behind Lugger Fest' at Johnson & Loftus in Corrie and Isle Ewe Boats, will be joined by a Tanera shore crew cooking up a storm in the tents.
The Sail and Oar Gathering on Tanera Mòr has grown organically from our relationship with Turn to Starboard, and is aimed at bringing together local, maritime & service communities. We look forward to a day of sailing and rowing, sharing food and sharing stories; seeing old friends and making some new ones.
Earlier this year, we welcomed the team from Portfolio magazine onto the island to explore our spaces and to share a little bit about what we do here.
